Monetary Donations to our organization are used in two important ways:
Miss Clarksville Scholarship Foundation
The Miss Clarksville Scholarship Foundation serves as the scholarship arm that processes scholarships for our pageant winners. MCSF proudly offers scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students to use towards their college of choice or towards student loan payments. Our goal is to offer $5,000 in scholarships this year. We would love for every young woman who competes in Miss Clarksville to receive a scholarship. At this time scholarships are just awarded to the winner in both our Miss and Teen categories. Scholarships are paid directly to the candidate’s college of their choice or to their student loan service provider and enhance the educational opportunities for the young women of Tennessee.
Crowning Touch Productions Organization
Crowning Touch Productions is the business that controls, oversees, and hosts the Miss Clarksville Competition. Young women from within 30 miles of Clarksville, TN will be competing for the title of Miss Clarksville and Miss Clarksville Teen. One will be crowned in each category and will the travel the state and represent Tennessee at a state competition of their choice. Each year funds are raised to help offset costs for:
* Miss Clarksville’s travel and expenses for completing her year of service to our city and state.
* Miss Clarksville’s travel and expenses for competing at her state pageant of choice and attending related events
* Funding the production of our competition and renting the competition venue.
Service or Item Donations
Of course most of our sponsors donate a service or item in kind to be gifted to our pageant winners in preparation for state competition. This has included discounts on state gowns and alterations, photography sessions, teeth whitening, jewelry, and more. If you're interested in donating an item or service, please reach out to us.
